Regular 80 lbs punching bag, if I worked out on it everyday, will my arms shoulders and some back/chest get any bigger?

perhaps only slightly in the shoulder , tri, or back muscles...but it is the best exercise for punching power and stamina...when you work the heavy bag do it in rounds...start with two minute rounds, timed, and work your way up...both in number of rounds first, then time...two minutes of constant pounding is a lot longer than you think...

When I hit a heavy bag on a regular basis, I get lean, my muscles get firmer, more defined, a little bigger. My endurance increases too. Combine some weight training with your bag training to increase size, and "the Greatest" was right: dont train on it every day. Every other day is good, especially if you're going to do some other kind of excercise as well. And from experience-if you start getting pain on the outside of your elbow, thats "tennis elbow"; its a type of bursitis and it can happen with repetitive activity. The younger you are, the less likely it is that you'll get it, just be aware.

No. Hitting the heavy or the punching bag is an aerobic workout. Sure it will tone your arms and shoulders but they won't grow any bigger. The only way to gain size is lifting weights.

Hitting the heavy bag is strenuous on your muscles, and should not be done every day. It will not make your arms bigger, just stronger.

A little, But the main thing is you are toning and working your muscles, so when you are in the ring you won't be tired so fast. I know some people who do that and they knock people out and their like never tired.

Best of luck to ya!
