My dad was in the Navy, brother in the Army, another brother in the Coast Guard; however I prefer the Air Force. This I would join because of my love for planes.

I'd join the Air Force, because I'm not a huge fan of the open ocean. However, I'm probably going to work for the Navy when I get my engineering degree, so I guess I just don't know...

Join the Air Force for the love of planes, join the Navy for the love of the ocean, either way, both are great! Do what your instincts tell you! Good luck!

Either one is good. My sister and some of my friends joined the Air Force. My sister got out after six years but trained to be air traffic controller. She works for the Military but only on the civilian side and makes more money this way. The Navy would probably be just as good. Good luck which ever you choose and thanks ahead of time for your service.

I would personally join the Navy. People think if they join AF they are going to be pilots and shoot shi t up... this is untrue.. ove 90% of the actual Air Force is not flying planes, but more of Fueling them, working on them, securing them, loading them, etc... Navy everyone has a job it's like a big cruise ship w/ guns lmaooo.... but If i could be a pilot of a f18 or something i'd join AF but since it's very unlikely i'd say Navy... but Im joining army anyhow... not really into either of them but i'd say Navy

I've been in the Air force for about 2 years now and I asked that
same question. The Air Force gives you more of a chance to
accomplish your goals plus that is the place to learn just about everything you'll need to know when you go job hunting, That kind
of training is something that shouldn't be passed up.

In my honest opinion it really depends on what you perfer. If you're not too athletic, I'd say the Air Force would be you best bet, but if you would rather push yourself a little more, I'd say navy. Also you have to know how long you can stand being on a boat. Some people like the navy but boats just seriously aren't their thing. But for further research you should check out dosomethingamazing.com, and i think it might be gonavy.com. I'm a PFC in th ARNG, so I do think military is an awsome experince and opportunity! Go for it but make sure the branch you chose has the job you'd like too (and maybe if you still can't decide, check on bonuses and other extras!)
