Good question. I'm sort of split-rail on this one. Yes, I feel better when I offer myself to the world around me, whether it be giving my time, my energy, my knowledge, etc. It feels great to give back to the world some of what I've taken from it. On the flip side, sometimes it feels good to take a little time for myself and sort of unwind, and recharge my batteries if you will. I'm all for doing what you can to make this world a little better, but you can't do that well if you don't take care of yourself first.

i am a true believer that doing good will always bring peace to ones self.there is just this harmony about helping or giving to others that's awsome.doing good beats the opposite a million times,plus you will shine from within.

Yes, giving promotes receiving.
You become a conduit of the force. There are no blocks and energy flows freely. There is no fatigue, laziness or lethargy, and one truly learns to be at ease.

Great question. I always find some "me-time."
But I think it's important not to dwell in it. You shouldn't get caught up in yourself so much that you forget you're part of a bigger picture...

Yes, it always generates energy to help others. It takes your mind off your own problems as well.
