I like this guy in my physics class, but we've never talked or anything. I was wondering if the best way to let him know I'm interested is to give him stares? Also, how do I work up the nerve? Because if I'm staring and he looks at me, do I keep staring? How do I do that without chickening out:P

yes, definatly look at him and when he looks back at you keep look ing for just a sec or 2 longer and then look down. it works every time!

Don't stare. It's better to make eye contact, then give him a little smile, and look away. Do this a few times during the day. If you see him around school, smile, and say hi. Hopefully he will take it from there. I'm very shy myself, and never knew how to make the first move.

O.K., this is from someone long out of school. Just walk up to the guy and ask him if he'd like to help with homework, or go to lunch, or or just flat out tell him you want to go out. staring is never bad, i like it when girls stare at me usually takes me bit to get it that their intrested in me but just when you guys have lab or something go up to him and ask him a question and then start conversation slowly, you know. the question is your ice breaker an then im sure you can use your charm. when i mean stare dont just stare at him be sure to smile, because there was this girl in my HS that liked me but she would just stare all the time and never say anything to me or even smile at me and I didnt like her like that plus she was a lil fugly lol

Staring works sometimes, but it is a little childish. Ask him a question about the class. "Did you hear what chapter we were supposed to read..."

It's okay to stare a little. If he catches you, look straight into his eyes and smile, then look away.

lol sorry...unfortunately, whether you like someone or not...some people find staring uncomfortable some dont. lol If you are an artist...you like to draw or paint portraits...you might find yourself staring at people and dont notice...but they do. If you like him. its probably best to say so so he doesnt feel awkward and wonder why you are staring at him. peace
