I have to file my husband's tax returns to the state of Kansas from 2000 2001 2002 and 2004. I don't have W2's and they require them! I have NO idea where to get them ~ please help!!

oh ~ and one of his old employers isn't in business anymore we can't find them ~ so is there another place to get them that's NOT the employers

Since I'm asking for the state information ~ the IRS doesn't apply. I'm needing STATE WITHHOLDING from W2's

And since he HASNT filed those years they DONT have transcripts from his previous taxes!

He can get them from the IRS
Call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040, they can provide you with transcripts of your return and W2 information and have it mailed to you in 7 to 10 days, or by fax if you have access to a fax machine. If you need an actual photo copy of the return you would need to complete form 4506 and send that along with a check for 39.00 to the service center where you filed, it will take 60 days to process your request
He needs to order transcripts from the State as the Federal Transcripts do not have any State withholding information

his employer has to keep them 6 years
