You are talking about an event millions upon millions of years from now. Look at how we have progressed in ten thousand years, do you think at that rate of progression we will need physical reality eons from now?

Well that's all nice and logical, but the one thing you are missing is choosing an option 1-4.
If the universe is expanding, I'd say that is the mark of a creator showing off his creation. A huge universe with one tiny little speck of a planet so teeming with life is quite incredible, more proof of a creator. The fact that in this infinite "random" universe there exists such rigid and up-tight anal retentive people is beyond me, so that is more of a reason to believe in a universal law if not creator.

# 3. As far as we know now there no inhabitable planets. I thnk earth itself will destruct one day and a different life may with very different beings will inhabit a planet. I still believe in God and due to the fact that the heavens are larger than origionally anticipated does not change my views. I think Earth is due for another ice age. We may end up like the dinosaurs.

My university level astronomy, as I studied not too many years ago, to become a cosmologist had several assertions.
The universe is open and will expand forever.
The universe is closed and will collapse on itself.
The universe is potentially cyclical.
The universe is an anomaly.
Assertions are irrelevant and unprovable and thus have no bearing on my evidence founded beliefs.
Oh - and wikipedia is not peer reviewed, don't necessarily trust everything you read there.

I see the assertion as no challenge to by belief in God since I do believe in divine creation and the scriptures speak of a time when he will create a new earth and a new heaven.-----why not entire new galaxies? why not new galaxies we never even dreamed of yet?--------when I see a baby guppy wriggling to be set free from it's mama-------------or stare at the scale structure on the cicada----------or watch a new born colt struggling to stand on his feet-----------and them look at some of the wildly unique ocean life-forms------then perhaps the giraffe -----wow-------just marvels me to no end Gods endless love of unique and different things.--------just gotta love it......God is Good.

In Hebrews it clearly says that the heavens will wear out someday and God will fold them in upon themselves like a worn out garment and then He will replace them. So I feel that God's word has already addressed this little problem.

well first you may want to find a more reliable source than wikipedia any one can edit that. that doesn't change my views of God. He is all powerful and He has a plan.. and that may be His plan for the end of time. or it maybe incorrect facts

I don't really care...I'm Christian, and knowing this would NOT change my faith in God. Anyways, I'll be long dead and in heaven by the time those pesky atoms fall apart :)
