If you cannot afford Similac, try using the Walmart brand.
it may not look as appealing but it works. My daughter never had a problem with it. It works if you are short on cash and need formula.

Um, parent's choice is the walmart brand, and it is exactly the same as similac. It smells the same, tastes the same, absorbs the same and is composed of the exact same ingredients. The only difference is the label.

We've used about every kind of formula known to man. And Sam's is not really any cheaper on formula or diapers. You just get a bigger amount (shop by cost per ounce, not by total cost) We shop there and I'd rather buy it at walmart.

You could try Sam's club. They sell it in bulk. Personally, I would use the Parent's Choice formula. It is exactly the same. I've checked it out extensively and everything is the same. I use it when my daughter's WIC runs out for the month.

I am not a big fan of using no name brand baby formula. This is your childs health. They may contain the same ingreadients, but that doesnt mean that they are as absorbable the same as similac. My cousin has her baby on zantac for reflux, and she uses the walmart brand, and never even tryed to change his formula to see if it would help. You could try costco it would probably be cheaper if you have, or know someone who has a membership. I wish you luck in your search.

Have you tried joining the clubs that the formula companies have for new parents. They send you checks to use at the store--they can only be used for their formula. But, the more of them you use, the more they send to you. Enfamil, Similac and Good Start have them--all you have to do is sign up.

I can't tell you a place any cheaper, but I can tell you that my son had his pediatrician, write a prescription, for baby formula. At that point the insurance company covered most of the cost of each can. For those of you with new babies, see if that could work for you.

PBM Products and SAM’S CLUB® Introduce Member’s Mark® Infant Formula with17 mg of DHA

New Private Brand Formula Offers the Same High Quality and Level of Listed Nutrients as Enfamil® LIPIL® for Nearly Half the Price

GORDONSVILLE, VA—August 2, 2005—PBM Products, LLC, the largest U.S. supplier of store brand infant formulas, has partnered with SAM’S CLUB to launch Member’s Mark Infant Formula with DHA and ARA. Featured exclusively at SAM’S CLUB today, Member’s Mark is currently the only private brand formula on the market offering the same high quality and level of listed nutrients as the leading national brand, Enfamil® LIPIL®, for nearly half the price.

Member’s Mark Infant Formula offers 17 mg of DHA per 100 Calories—the same as Enfamil LIPIL*—and costs up to 45% less than national brands. DHA and ARA are important nutrients found in breast milk that have been proven to aid in babies’ brain(1) and eye(2) development. Member’s Mark is fortified with iron and contains amounts of DHA equivalent to the highest level available among the national brands.

Available at SAM’S CLUB locations throughout the United States, Member’s Mark comes in a convenient 3 lb. can, providing parents an exceptional buy.

“We are committed to providing our members with the highest quality items at the best possible value,” said Matt Kistler, vice president Private Brands, SAM’S CLUB. “By partnering with PBM, a national leader in store brand infant formulas, we can now offer a baby formula we believe to be a better value for our members than national brand formulas.”

“PBM is proud to supply SAM’S CLUB with a product that offers parents advanced nutrition at a sensible price,” said Paul B. Manning, president and CEO of PBM Products.

PBM’s factory in Georgia, Vermont, has been manufacturing state-of-the-art infant formulas for more than 20 years.

All infant formulas are nutritionally complete and meet the strict nutritional guidelines determined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Although all formulas must meet these guidelines, Member’s Mark offers more DHA than Similac® Advance®, which contains 8 mg of DHA per 100 Calories.**
