My father has been sick for about 3 years. Has had all kinds of blood test and last week he a bone marrow test and it showed know signs of cancer. Today the doctors said he has Hodgkin's Disease. How could that happen when he has had every test under the sun done?

No I don't believe it is, however with genetic studies they have been linking genes to diseases. They may discover a genetic tendency.
