I have been clinically depressed for over 20 years. I can tell you that the list of things depression can cause is longer than the list it can't cause. Physical pain is indeed on the list. I experience leg cramps that were never a problem before as well as mood swings, short temper and I even caught myself lying while taking the prescribed medication. There is almost nothing off limits, depression is a very nasty condition that can affect any part of the body.

I honestly think mine may have contributed to my diabetes.

Yes. Depression can cause a whole long list of medical symptoms, check in with your doctor though anytime something doesn't "feel" right.

Yes! Medications can have a large amout of side affects .I would contact my pharmacy where I purchased my medication. I would consider the emergency room or going to see my nurse/doctor.
