Honey, aren't you a wee young to be worried about belly fat?
Ok, here is how I did it. BUT YOU NEED TO TALK WITH YOUR PARENTS TO BE SURE THAT YOU ARE NOT OBSESSING WITH YOUR WEIGHT FIRST AND FOREMOST. If you can't talk to your parents, try the school nurse or a counselor, k? Everyone your age that is being fed correctly is still growing and will, from time to time, have a little more weight on them.
Drink water. Walk everywhere you can go on foot. Avoid fast foods, if you can, eat salads if you can not.
I lost a lot of weight when I was at a school in the military and had to walk from living quarters to the building that held the classes and back and forth and back and forth (breakfast, lunch and dinner). I lost over 20 lbs in 5 weeks.
Stressed out? That can cause you to gain pounds as well. Get into an exercise plan to work off stress and have the added bonus of exercise. You need to start small, walking for a half hour and work your way from there. ALWAYS WALK IN A SAFE PLACE, WITH YOUR PARENTS PERMISSION AND WHEN IT IS DAYLIGHT. Maybe you can get a friend to walk with you as a work out partner.
Always eat, never starve. We use to call it grazing in the Corps, however avoid empty calories like candy bars, sodas, and anything else that has no nutritional value. If and when you do feel hungry eat something small like a serving of veggies or fruit.
Eat to live, not live to eat. Exercise regularly, even if it is walking to lunch or to the corner store. Drink at about a 1/2 gallon (NO MORE) of water a day, as most people confuse feeling thirsty with hunger.
Any diet that states to avoid one type of food (i.e. starches or fats) is a bad diet altogether. Do not cut all the fat out of your diet; do not cut out all the carbs either. Everything in moderation is the best approach.
And last, but most importantly, get with parents and your doctor so that they can advise you of a plan to loose weight and even run tests to insure that the weight gain is not due to a medical condition. The Dr. can also refer you to a nutritional specialist who can work out a well rounded diet for you.
GOOD LUCK AND REMEMBER ALL OF THIS MUST BE RAN BY YOUR PARENTS FIRST AND FOREMOST.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

Tell your parents you want to go to your doctor. He will tell you whether or not you are really overweight. If you are, he'll guide you down the right road. If you just want to trim up your stomach, look for exercises to target that area specifically.
