you shouldn't really take any supplements but if you find it is hard to get enough protein (1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight if your trying to stay lean while gaining muscle) take whey protein.

a good supplement would be a product called Physique...a lot of professional female athletes take this product..its by a company called Shaklee...you can find it at the site below...it has all the information about the product

Weight/resistance training builds muscle. Stay away from steroids they are bad for you.

Steroids! You could be like marge on that one episode where she takes steroids.
Or you could take protein shakes at the end of every work out.
