^This is where my problem started. In short he's 20 I’m 16, we flirted had a great time(for whole story see link above, you may have to copy paste it). Now he's all I can think about, I called and left my number at the gym he works at(again see long version). But now all my friends are like you shouldn't have, you can't go out w/him, don't even think about it. So out of 4 friends 4 have disapproved of me even talking to a guy who is 20. but my mom says to go for it as long as we aren't doing "it." I wanna talk to someone about everything, how I feel, what I’m going to say, what we would do if we went out(like where we would go), but I don't have anyone to talk to and I don't know what to do. I just wanna go get rid of all these feeling but I can't cause I don't have anyone to tell. What should I do?

I don't think that the age difference is really a bad thing, I know plenty of people that are 4 or more years apart. Maybe you are just more muture then your friends. I do think that you need to get to know the guy some more before you decide that you want to go out with him. Tell your friends that you really like him and that you've talked to other people and they say the age difference isn't really that big of a deal (as long as you guys aren't having sex you're not doing anything illegal). Since your mom is ok with it maybe she should be the one you talk with about some of these things ( if you guys have a pretty good relationship).
Oh, and he sounds like he might be into you

what would it hurt? those feelings wont go away until you go on that date. i would say that you should go somewhere that you know very well. even though your friends disapprove, ask them to go but not with you. ask them to be in the background so you can text them or get them to call you every now and then. but not too much or the guy will feel like crap. so just a few check ups. offer to meet there. don't let him drive you. don't let him drive you home. this is just for safety. but have backup. if something gets out of hand, a friend is nearby. email me if you have any questions, girkin90@gmail.com

Men honestly do mature slower than women. And honestly I was 21 & into a 17 year old. Not because i wanted him sexually, but because I thought he was an amazing person & very grown up for his age. This 20 year old could see the same thing in you.

The age difference isn't a issue when it comes to mattersof the heart but if dude ain't responding to your calls and he hasn't reached out to you ain't much you can do. But since you like this guy alot just for the sake of trying call him one more time and if you don't get a response it might be time for you to put your attention elsewhere. If he likes you at all he'll call.

Sounds to me like you're more mature than A LOT of other 16 year olds, and if moms okay with it , go for it ..Hopefully this guy is mature too and not just looking for ..well you know.. Good luck with it..

Well if your mother approves of it I don't see a problem, as long as your not doin "it". My husband is four years older then me and we were around the same ages as you two are. If he's a perv drop him.... if he's respectful go for it. Just don't let him influence you to do things he can get in trouble for.
