Stats on male/female victims and offenders:
Victims:
Prevalence rates for having experienced sexual abuse in girls range between 1 out of 4 to 20%, and for boys 1 out of 8 to 5-10%
Perpetrator Stats:
11% of perps are strangers, 29% are family members and 60% are known to the child (dispelling the myth that most perps are strangers)
35% of perps are women, 65% are males
85% of perps were abused themselves as children
Other interesting stats: males who have been sexually abused are 14% more likely to commit suicide than those who have not
And please don't forget dissociative symptoms as a sign of sexual abuse.
I have lots of info on perpetrators and signs of sexual abuse in victims if you need more info. Also, check out the Virtus website for further info:

An interesting point about sexual abuse is how children are 'set-up' for it and even 'groomed' for it by preditors. How they find the children who they think will be open to it...the ones lacking attention or self-esteem, or parental supervision. How they start with 'games' and 'tickling'.. How children are seduced into it. And how it can feel good to a child but end up in self loathing. The psychology of why they don't tell (it's usually self blame more than threats of violence or retribution for telling). These are aspects that most abuse victims don't talk about....because inside its hard not to blame yourself. They loved the attention.....and it turned bad... Talk more about these things. Explore what the preditors tell people to look for to protect thier children....some have spoken on this.

Information about offenders:
-What portion have been abused themselves in the past?
-What portion of convicted sex offenders re-offend after they're released from prison?
-What are some methods used to "rehabilitate" convicted sex offenders? How well do they work? (i.e. how many "rehabilitated" sex offenders re-offend, and how many stay clean)
-What portion of offenders know the victim, and what portion are strangers?
About the victims:
-Statistics on demographics of victims (prevelance based on age, gender, etc., and what portion of the population is effected)
-Factors that increase the risk of abuse (ex. kids with any disability are twice as likely to be abused, kids with distant parents are more volunerable to predators, etc.)
-Warning signs of sexual abuse in kids (sexual acting out, etc.)
About sexual abuse in general:
-That offenders often manipulate their victims into thinking they love them, that it's normal, that it's just a game, etc., so the victim ends up blaming him/herself
Prevention
-What parents can do to keep their kids safe, and what kids can do to keep themselves safe
-Organizations that fight sexual abuse
-How to get help if you or someone you know is being abused. I don't know what your audience is, but if you're talking to kids (maybe, middle school or younger) then try to emphasize that it's important to tell an adult if someone touches you inappropriately, or if you're talking to adults or older teens you might want to talk about what to do after sexual assualt (don't change your clothes or take a shower, go to a hospital ER to document any physical evidence, etc.) and how to report if you think that a child you know is being abused.

One more point not yet covered; many of those girls commonly referred to as sluts or town bikes, etc., were abused when younger, often by a father, or uncle, or a friend of the family, and have little concept of unconditional love.
