We've been together for over a week now, and my boyfriend doesn't want to tell his friends. I quote, "I do want to tell them, but they make fun of me and you." So what? I don't care! He needs to stand up for himself!
p.s. If this helps, his friends really kinda hate me. I don't know why. They wrote in my journal and looked in it for no reason... o.O.

soiunds like he may be afraid of what else they will say, or that he is ashamed for some reason. Why not encourage hm to take you somewhere where the friends go. If he refuses, without a GOOD reason, turn him loose.

Maybe he is insecure. I agree with you but don't push him too
much just let him get comfortable with having a girlfriend and then see if he tells. Wait a litle while. If nothing changes after a while confront him again. Hope everything works out between you.
just give him some time he'll turn around

I am wondering how old you are. I am thinking you are quite young for a guy to act like this. I would say, if you aren't good enough for him to tell his friends about you, then you are probably too good for him and you need to dump him...don't waste your time on him if he is going to be this way...How can the two of you hang out much if his friends can have no clue...??

It is just a week... Maybe he isn't sure if u'd stay with him long enuf to even noe him. Give him more time... You can't expect him to scream out to the world tt u're together so soon..

Hon, Why would you go with a boy who is ashamed to tell everyone you are his girl? You are better than that...Tell the looser to get on down the road.You respect yourself more than that.

good question probably because these days friends arent how they used to b cause if he does then someone else may start likin you and then soon everybody would know even the people who dont like him

then don't be too bothered by the fact he's not telling his friends
maybe he's doing it to protect you because he doesn't want them trying to push you away from him
on the other hand, he could just be embarassed

i think he might really care what his friend opinions are and he might be worried that they'll reject him socially because of your relationship with him.obvisiously the have something against you. but if you think they guy is worth it, stick it out and be proud of who you are.i think you already know why he wont tell them.
