You may be lacking salt in your diet since both things are salty...
Also, I would ask your doctor to check your iron levels and potassium eels as well..
Good luck and hope you feel better soon.

While it is normal sometimes to crave random foods, it probably means you need some more sodium and electrolytes in your diet. It could also be part of PMS. Watch when you seem to crave them the most. If it keeps up for an extended period of time, you may want to see a doctor, as it could be a symptom of a more serious problem, and a list of when you seem to crave these things could be very helpful to aid in diagnosis. But for now, just enjoy them.

Do you take a multivitamin every day? If not,I would highly reccommend that. Also, for us women usually we get these really strong cravings right before our,"Visitor,"is about to come, because of the hormones in our bodies! I would just reccommend that you eat right, plenty of fresh fruits, veggies, salads, lean protein,(Chicken,Turkey, etc)and get lots of exercise too! Usually really strong cravings is a sign that your body craves vitamins and minerals from healthier foods like the ones mentioned above! Good luck and I hope this helps?

I agree that we sometimes crave foods that have nutrients that we are deficient in, but I craved meat ball subs when I was pregnant and I can't explain that one.
