I get so frustrated because the conversations we have consist of him asking me this question and that question and I get irritable because I would like to just talk with him. How do I stop him from doing this. I tried to tell him and so far it doesnt do any good. He just as well could be chatting with a stranger.

I have the opposite situation. I am the question asker. I ask so many questions because I am curious about why things are said or how they are phrased and my friend leaves out soooooo many details when he speaks about something. He assumes I know where he's going and just skims over what he's talking about. When he gets half way through, I discover I sometimes have a different impression of where he was leading me. I do not like to assume and that some times causes us a problem. Find out why he asks so many questions and see if there is a different way you two can adjust your conversations to suit you both. Here's trying.
