do any one know a god breed of dog for an apartment with a small patio?? i would liek a smaller breed but a medium size dog will eb allowed also... just let me know

i think a chow would be ok or a labs or golden retrievers theyre pretty good i hope that helped good luck

I don't know much about small dogs except with my experiences they bark a lot.
Anyway, you should go to your local shelter and check out those dogs. You may find the perfect one for you.
If your apartment allows extra large dogs your best bet is an English Mastiff. They are super lazy and don't require a lot of exercise.
But I guess that won't work since you want small to medium dog. Definitely check out the mixed breeds at the shelter.

Believe it or not greyhounds are couch potatoes and aren't known for being noisy. There are many retired and rescued greyhounds look for homes ~ try a rescue or petfinder.com

A Dachshund is good, they don't take up much space, if you get a smooth hair they don't shed much, they are easy to train and mine doesn't bark and make a lot of noise.....

look into toy breeds papillons are really good.
