There is this guy that I really like at school and I don't know how to make him like me. I am afraid to talk to him so please don't tell me to go start a conversation with him or just go eat lunch with him. It is really hard for me to do that kind of stuff. Do any guys have any advise for what they like in a girl? I really want this guys to like me and I don't know how. PLEASE HELP!!!

You can't make someone like you. Just be yourself. What I like: is personality, self confidence, and a taste in video games (lol jk). If you want him to really like you, then he has to see what's on the inside, not outside.

well i am here w/ my bf and we will both give you some advice so you can get some from both sides...
i think that talking to a guy is VERY hard, but start small. do you have any classes with him? or any mutual friends? start by laughing at his joke, or make a joke yourself. if you have an idea of what he's into, make a subtle comment about it, ("i love that new Brand New song, i wonder if the cd is any good?"). it will be easier if you are in a group of friends or in class. EYE CONTACT is always a great thing, dont know why, but it always works...
if you have no classes or mutual friends, then get some mutual friends! dont use ppl, but expand your circle :)
ooh, a good convo starter, ask for his help w/ something in a class that you both have, or maybe, "hey, do you have change for a $5?" then throw in a comment about something he likes maybe, like the song/band thing i said before...
i know this is going to sound SUPER cliche, but about that whole "what do guys like in a girl" thing, but just be yourself! guys like confidence, and you cant be confident being someone your not. plus, if you do act like someone you arent, it'll get old real fast, you'll start to act like the real you, and then you might find that you two arent good together and you/he might get hurt and at the very least, you just wasted a whole lot of time!!!!!!
thats all ive got tho! and if it doesnt work, you will find someone way better!!!

Oh God to be that young again.
Anyway to your problem, in being shy, you need to get over that first off. No need to become the life of the party overnight, but it doesn't take much for you to say hello to him,
That's all it takes, a smile and hello as you pass by him. After a few of those, or even less, and he finds you attractive, he'll talk to you. Get to know your name etc.
Remember you can't make someone like you, so all you can do, is be yourself, and hope that he likes what you are.
Practice, smiling at people, who you meet every day, in school or in the Mall etc. All it takes is "Hello, how are you today."
It's a social skill you need to learn. After a few of those, you will feel more confident in yourself.
No one, is going to ignore you or be mean to you. They will smile back and say, "I'm fine thanks, how are you" No rocket science here, just a friendly gesture.

I do not know what guys will say. I say do not go after him. Let him know you are interested by your conversation and your actions. I am very shy, but guys have always come up to me. I have been told my eyes and smile draw them in, so maybe that will happen for you. Just make sure he sees you being yourself. If he is interested, he will speak to you and then you can make sure you are open and friendly. Good luck. Don't worry so much.

Hey you will have to talk to him eventually. Start by just making sure he notices you. Always look really nice, lock eyes and smile at him. Try to join a club that he is in or participate in something that he is involved in.

start by trying to get to go to the same party as him, don't come on to strong, but after a few group incounters invite him over for fun stuff, not just like romanitc, just games and getting to know better, then it will progress to what u desire.
groups of people all together with the guy would help, my gf had the same problem1

First ask one of your friends to go ask him if he has a girlfriend!
Then maybe dress up a little more or fix yourself up guy love girls with style!! Speak up or do something for him to notice you..But never try 2 be someone your not just to impress some boy.OKAY!!

The fact is you cant "MAKE" anyone be romantically intrested in you if they arent.So you can stand in a corner and wait for him to read your mind, or you can quit falling in love from afar and making someone you dont even know your whole life just to be crushed IF you are rejected by them.You dont have to go up to him and say "oh GOD!I want you sooo bad I cant see straight please PLEASE marry ME!"Just say hi to him introduce yourself and dont act like its a big deal.Act like you can take him or leave him then if he just wants to be friends, then you wont look like a desperate fool.Get some guts girlie!

If he is in any of your classes, you could ask him if he got the home work or something like that. start with small conversation and work your way up.
