when i do that i have to use my reinstall disk of windows media center 2005. how can i make it a partition so i can have both media center and windows vista. For example i have them both how do i switch it from windows media center to vista or vista to media center. where do i go to switch. plz help me..

You will have to take out Windows Vista. Then install Windows XP then put back Windows Vista. Windows Vista cannot boot after you have installed a previous version of windows. Besides, Depending on what version of Windows Vista you have, it comes with the Media Center built-in.
