I would only buy the following brands for decks;
Organica
Death
Girl
Speed Deamons
Birdhouse
Plan B
Hook ups
Flip
Zero

I would recomend the follwing for trucks
Grind King
Venture

I recommend the following wheels;
Enough
Heroin
Spitfire

Good Bearings:
Lucky
Bones
Flip

Personally I would not buy a complete if you have the money buy everything seperatly it will be a lot better.

Never mind if you snapp a deck or anything this is not due to your weight it is due to not landing perfectly. I am far from overweight and i snap decks all the time its no big deal. Don't buy cheap parts its not worth it as they will not last as long. Also I would recomend buying some Blueprint truck risers, its a piece of rubber that goes in between the trucks and deck this means you get shock absorbtion and you will not get cracks as easily on the deck. These thing only cost a few bucks but believe me there worth it.

If you are just starting, buy a blank complete that is good for your size. Ask the skate shop worker what he recommends. You dont need top of the line equipment if you are a novice. Get a basic setup to learn the basics. Dont be bummed when you snap a deck or kingpin either. We all break boards and trucks occasionally.

I dont know if you are fat @ 165lbs since you didnt tell us your height, but skateboarding is a great workout and a fun way to lose weight. Careful though, the bigger you are, the harder you fall.

in certainty your scorin with the board however the rest is probable low priced. i could try CCS they gained't rip you a sparkling one. you could try it whether it won't final you for a 365 days or previous. My favorites are: purple's bearings, abec 7's, they final see you later. Wheel's do no longer likely remember, standard length will set you up for a on a similar time as, in simple terms don't get them too small or they gained't final longer than 6 month''s. so some distance as hardware i do no longer pick to pass with shorty's because of the fact as quickly as your board wares interior the grooves you would be left with loose automobiles because of the fact shortys have a piece that comes without grooves. Terrable products of crap. boards, the pop and turn could make a distinction whilst it includes your trick pref's and ask your self, and the layers of ply are significant for dirability yet undergo in concepts that particularly some blanks additionally carry those self same high quality's. maximum suitable board I even have ever skated replaced right into a sparkling. i think of there is particularly some misinterpretation with the huge call boards. automobiles pass with Independant they're heavyer and make you artwork yet they pay off for the way long they final. wish this all facilitates bud, in case you have from now on questions you could continuously hit me up. stable success.
