everyone says that running will make you lose weight quick and make you skinny and everything but would walking abiout 30 minutes a day have the same effect?

Just to let you know. Running and walking will trim your body but not make you loose too much weight. Try a balanced diet with a wide variety of exercise. Lower calories and exercise is the only way to loose weight. Walking is not as stressful to your body than running is. Loosing weight too fast only invites it to come back and it usually does. Do it right and diet and exercise the right way.

Walking will help you loose weight as well as running. Getting any type of cardio will do it :)
