Recently I was fishing in the carabean and caught a 50" wahoo I was trying to find out the approximate weight of the fish

Here's an online calculator you can use. I think you need to know girth as well as length, however.

I'd guess 30-35 pounds. I've caught lots of wahoo and weighed them, but never measured them, but I'm guessing from photos I've got. 45 pounders seem to be around 5 feet (60 inches), though some fish are fatter (heavier) than others of the same length.

No idea because Wahoo is so dense. I have serious fish envy, though.
