I live in the San Francisco bay area and am planning a beach wedding.... does anyone have any location recomendations? I would like to stay on the CA. coast..... maybe a resort on the beach.....

Here in Ventura we have the Pierpont Inn, sits on a cliff overlooking the ocean and our pier. Rooms are beautiful, food is excellent, service really can't be beat. It's only a couple blocks from downtown which is really growing with night life and entertainment.

How about Half Moon Bay or Carmel? You could always go north to Sequoia too. Monterey is an option. Coronado Beach in San Diego is beautiful and the Del Coronado Hotel is a wonderful resort. Look it up on the web. Good luck.

Northern California has some beautiful beaches except I can't remember their names, the weather there is cooler than in Southern California depending on the month of the wedding. I saw a pretty large list online. You can find lots of ideas from an online wedding site; they actually post up pictures of actual people's weddings and have it categorized by area, state, and I am sure beaches is in a section somewhere.
