Hi Robert,

I use to have a great look at a website called Friends of William Tyndale, but for some reason the site doesn't come up anymore.

He was the father of english reformation, fluent in eight different languages. He was responsible for 85% of the work in translating the hebrew and greek texts that went into the KJV work of 1611.

You may want to do some reading up on him in history, and then google a site that goes by av1611. I use the KJ authorized version only. Here is the URL.

http://www.av1611.org/

There are over 100 different versions of the bible on the market and only one is close to the mark of a pure word -received text for word - received text translation. and that would be the KJV.

Good luck in your search. Let me know if you need more info.

There may be others, but the only major group I know of that exclusively uses the King James is the Mormons (and I applaud them for it). You can google Mormon or Latter-Day Saints and come up with a useful website.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, more well-known as Mormons, use the King James Version of the Bible.

The King James version was written specifically to keep Jamie-boy happy. He was homophobic and deathly afraid of curses and magick, hence the biases against them in the KJV and subsequent Bibles based on the KJV. The KJV was not written to preserve accuracy, because human bias destroys accuracy.
