Nope, that's rude -- sort of a slap in the face, and how is someone supposed to know what jokes I've heard, if I haven't been nice enough to share the jokes with them?
On the other hand, if they specifically ask me, after telling me the joke, if I've heard it before, I typically won't lie to them.
So, if you text me a joke, don't ask if I've heard it before, mmmmkay? :P

I can't be rude either. I would just say...."Thats a good one" and leave it go at that. Sometimes the same joke told by someone different is funnyier then the first time you heard it.
