right now the mega millions is around 370 million dollars, if i win, how much will they take off from taxes? does it matter if you're married or single?

It's really complicated. You'd need a CPA. Yes it matters if you're married, and it matters how much money you earn, and charity, and other things. Plan on about 33%.

All prizes are subject to Federal income taxes and other offsets required by law. However, there are no state/local taxes.
