They did not do so. The first five books of the Old Testament were written later by Moses. We are not told that much about Adam and Eve after the Cain and Abel incident (MuRdEr). Have a great evening and a wonderful week!

Adam and Eve started human history. God was the one who inspired the recording of their accounts.

Adam came preprogrammed by the Creator. He used 100% of his brain. What do you think God and adam talked about all day long. Hey Adam, you want to know I divided the light? Or maybe how the biological system works, or maybe why everything was Created, Adam was not stupid by any means!

I don't think the art of the written word had been discovered yet! To be a literate person you have to be able to gather knowledge by reading. Since there were no written words yet, no I don't see how thy could be literate. But that doesn't mean that they were unintelligent and unaware.

They are fictional characters. But the bible only pretends to be a book of recorded history.

would have made more sense if adam and eve wrote the bible but making sense goes against the very fabric of faith

God promoted ignorance. Otherwise he would have not kicked them out of Eden for learning about good and evil.
Just another reason to not believe in the bible. What kind of god punishes for learning?
