Choose Healthy Foods

Cardio Class or Cardio Excerise like walking, running, elipticle, staire climber, bike riding, etc..

CRUNCHES!!!!! Do regular crunches and then elbow to opposite knee crunches will twist the waist and work a different muscle group.

Drink water. Walk everywhere you can go on foot. Avoid fast foods, if you can, eat salads if you can not.

I lost a lot of weight when I was at a school in the military and had to walk from living quarters to the building that held the classes and back and forth and back and forth (breakfast, lunch and dinner). I lost over 20 lbs in 5 weeks.

Stressed out? That can cause you to gain pounds as well. Get into a gym to work off stress and have the added bonus of exercise. Want to loose the inches of the waist...crunches, crunches and more crunches paired with a good cardio workout (you need to start small, maybe 15 crunches a night and walking for a half hour and work your way from there).

Always eat, never starve. Try several small meals instead of 3 major ones. We use to call it grazing in the Corps, however it is a must to avoid empty calories like candy bars, sodas, and anything else that has no nutritional value. Take fruit and veggies with you to work or school so you can avoid the candy machine or the donuts/cookies/cake the evil co-worker brings in.

Eat to live; not live to eat. Exercise regularly, even if it is walking to lunch or to the corner store. Drink at least 1/2 gallon of water a day, as most people confuse feeling thirsty with hunger.

Any diet that states to avoid one type of food (i.e. starches or fats) is a bad diet altogether. Do not cut all the fat out of your diet; do not cut out all the carbs either. Everything in moderation is common sense that is held uncommon in the world today.

Ever eat at a resturant and notice how much they try shove down your throat? Eat until you are not hungry, no until you are full. I always end up "waseting" (as my friends call it) food when I go out to eat because I refuse to eat the oversized portions they dish out. It has made a lot of difference for me.

And last, but most importantly, get with your doctor so that they can advise you of a plan to loose weight and even run tests to insure that the weight gain is not due to a medical condition. They can also refer you to a nutritional specialist who can work out a well rounded diet for you.

GOOD LUCK and TAKE CARE!!!

OK some of these people arent helping much. If your young, ask your parents if you can try one of those safe and healthy diet plans, like the Negative Calorie Diet. Also, DONT become anorexic or boulimic. THats just UNHEALTHY!!!!!! Eat foods like carrots and celery and lots and lots of fruits and veggies. RUN!!!!!!!!!! Running is sooooooo effective for losing weight. Drink stuff like green tea if you like it. Also, do your best to find healthy foods that taste good to you. You'll be much more likely to stick to your diet plan that way. Do stuff like yoga. it may sound dorky, but a lot of stars in hollywood have done yoga to tone up their muscles. Do crunches and situps, but dont depend on those only. You can't spot reduce very effectively with only those excercise. Pop is HORRIBLE for you, so dont drink it. If you drink a regular coke for a week, you'll gain a pound. I know it may not sound like mcuh, but it can add up fast. If you're a big pop drinker, than try slowly cutting it back. If you absolutely HAVE to have it, dry a diet soda, it has no calories. But dont think you can drink that often, it can make you gain weight easily. Cut back on desert. If you have a craving, try a low-fat chocolate fudge pop. That is so much better than cookies or regular ice cream. Exercise a TON! use the tredmill, bike, or eliptical at your gym. Swim or take a gymnastics, dance, or yoga class. If your still in school, join your track or cross country team. It sounds hard, but running is really effective for weight loss and can be a ton of fun. you can notice a huge improvement in your body and speed if you join the team. Get outside and make exercising fun!!!! YOu dont have to have a extreme cardio workout every two hours, just get off the couch and out of the pantry. Lastly, have a friend diet with you. it will be about 10 times easier and 100 times more fun. you can motivate each other.

Well I am dealing with the same problem here. Over the last month I have lost about ten lbs. I drink a lot of water, stay away from the junk foods. (ice cream and chocalate are very tempting) I also bought an exersize bike that I try to ride every day, I usually do about 5 miles a day at least until it gets warmer outside and then I plan on riding the bike trails. Self disipline is very important. You just have to set your mind to it and stay off the scale. you will get irriated with yourself if you get on the scale everyday, so hide the scale, you will notice the weight lose just by how your clothing is fitting. But I guess that is it and good luck!!!!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

You should definetly eat less, as in no Lay's potato chips snacks, and no seconds at dinner. Don't skip meals though. Doing this can result in gaining weight once you finally do eat, because when you go to long without eating, your body thinks your starving it and goes into survival mode. Once you eat something, your body holds on to all the fat, thinking that you won't eat again for hours.

:) Also, you should try exercising if you don't already. Walking around the block or on a tread mill is a great way to burn calories.

Hope this helps.

Peace!

eat right - no soda, not even diet, no junk food, no fast food
eat breakfast every day - oatmel, fruit, cereal, toast
exercise at least 30 minutes per day

It's really not rocket science. Just common sense. Be prepared to lose 1 - 2 pounds per week.

Take a cardio class. I take one twice a week which consists of step aerobics, weights, ab work and also leg work. But it all is focusing on your Core. This helps take inches off of your waist fast.

Reduce your caloric intake, girl. I lost 70 lbs that way. Easy as pie.

No pills or gimmicks: Self-denial; will-power; self-control.

Best of luck. You can do it.
