Do you prounounce it day, which rhymes with hey/hay/May/lay, or dee, as in di, with the e sound like in emo, or easy?

Watch PBS. British people with a cockney accent (think My Fair Lady with Audrey Hepburn) pronounce it similar to the American pronunciation of "die," but with a British/cockney accent.

With England having a lot of different Accents there are many variations on how they pronounce it. The Standard is it soundslike they, with some it is daiy, dey, deh.
