My boyfriend is going to be away for his birthday and I want to mail him his gift, any good ideas? He's turning 29.

The best gift I ever got was something that I needed when I was away from home, in BCT. I never thought getting soap and sandles in the mail would make my day, but I did cause I dearly need them. Where is he traveling and what he doing? When people travel there is something that they need dearly or miss very dearly.

I collect Native American memoribilia and my wife made (yes made) me an authentic, Teepee lamp. She researched it, painted it, wired it and gave it to me for my birthday. The lamp is beautiful and one of a kind, but the greatest part of the gift is all the research and work she put into it. I actually cried. For your needs, I would suggest an I>O>U> for something really special. It'll give him a reason to hurry back.

My gf sent me a nice shirt as my birthday gift, along with a letter (handwritten) material things are nice and good but nothing beats the emotional touch of a letter which only she can write, things she can say. If you're one of those people who believe in it, I would suggest go ahead and write him a letter, tell him you love him and miss him on his special day as you do on every day when he is not arond you..

I own my home, and love to do, Do it yourself projects, and an ex girlfriend bought me fold up work bench, that does most of the things I need.
Every time I use it now, I think of her. Maybe it's a guy thing, but I loved getting it. And the years of use I have had with it.
But it showed, that she knew me, and what I loved to do.
Besides the great sex, lol.

I bought two necklaces, has heart on it. (two came in package) each necklace is half a heart, each heart when put together joins perfect. This way, we always know where part of our heart is at.
