First of all, you have to consider whether it would be a shame to lose him as a friend if you try it out and things don't work. Also, if you are friends, then you have the chance to find out if he's into you. You can try being a bit more flirty and if you get a good response, then go for it and if you don't get any response, maybe this guy is better off as a friend and some other guy will come along

Take the initiative. Tell him how you feel before some other gurl steals your thunder and takes him all for herself. There aren't many good guys around so if you feel that this one is good for you than don't take the risk in letting someone else get him. Times have changed and its ok 4 gurls to ask the guy out. Follow your first mind and let him know how you feel. He might feel the same way about you. But be careful. Sometimes you can lose a friend because of a relationship gone wrong. Just in case you do get him and the relationship goes bad be sure you can continue the friendship like it was before yall got involved as more than just friends. Dont lose a good thing :)

I won't speak for all men, but I know I love it when women are forward with me. As men, we're less likely to pick up on the intricate subtleties that some women like.
If you want my advice, and you're reading this, so I'll assume you do, I suggest that you tell him you'd like to get a little more serious and ask him out to a movie, or a cup of coffee, or something of the like.

Take things slow and do not jump into it or you will end up regretting it in the relationship. Ask him about everything and allow him to ask you about everything or tell him. Take your time.
