If you've been dating less than 9 months, then my speculation is she may be losing interest in your relationship and may not get it back. Now, if you've been dating for more than that, then she may be bored and wants to see what else is out there and decide if you are THE one. If I were to ever ask my boyfriend for "a little break" I would only hope he calls me in three weeks, just long enough for me to see what life is like without him. By then she girl should have an answer as to being with the guy or not (in this case, you). Remember, what you think and feel matters too, so don't let her string you along. Good luck.

Wait one week, then send her some flowers, or chocolate. With a message saying, " I'm giving you all the time you need. But I just want you to remember that I love you!"
I think that this will be a good gesture. But don't pressure her, or make her feel bad. Things will work out if it is meant to be.

wait a week- 2 weeks. then, call her and remind her that you are still thinking of her. Suggest going out to lunch, and just taking it easy for a while. If she is still not interested, hang up with her knowing you're still thinking of her, and call her in another 2 weeks. If she still isn't interested, I doubt it is going to happen.
