i really like this guy.... and i text him a lot, but he doesn't seem interested, but he'll answer my questions. i can't tell if he is busy or if he is just not in the mood to talk. were in the same class, and im to shy to talk to him. how can i explain that to him in a text message?

If he's in the same class and doesn't seem interested in text, why don't you ask him to eat lunch and then discuss your feelings. If you text your feeling then you can get the whole affect of the person taking it in. But if you must text, go with something like " You know something, I really like you! What do you think about that!"

Stop obsessing, he's obviously not interested. Give it a break. From this point on you stop and see what he does. Now if he chases you, then you play hard to get. But do not send him another text or you will just be a joke to him, and everyone else if he deems it neccessary to tell everyone.
