There's this girl I see on the bus every thurs. How do I approach her?

We made eyes once, but that's it. We're both in college (different schools). I'm a REALLY shy guy, and was wondering how to strike up a conversation. Also should i give her my number (if we talk) or ask for hers. Thanks

PS i've been on one date, and asked out one girl ever (she came onto me first), so I have no experience to draw off of.

You already know you go to diff. schools, so ask
"Hey, aren't you in my ____ class?"
She'll obviously say no, but you can keep the conversation rolling by asking her name, asserting that you know someone who looks "just like her", asking her major, etc.
If she's interested, she'll start reciprocating by answering and asking you questions, you'll know it if she's into you.
The question is innocent enough to not be an obvious "i like you" give-away, but it will keep her guessing.
Just back off though if you get a bad vibe from her b/c some girls might not like it when random guys talk to them...really, since you don't know her or know anyone that knows her and can introduce you, you'll never know until you try

girls are usually not interested people hitting on them, some are, but most are not, usually, most girls need to be eased into small chat, otherwise, any other chat will be freaky/stalkerish/ackward for them. For example, you can pretend to ask her about the bus, like "do you know where this bus goes, sorry i'm a little lost?" Something along the lines of that, butdifferent, since you guys already take the bus.

Write on a slip of paper Please call me, with your number. Fold it over. Hand it to her. Either she will take it or she will not. Either she will call you or she will not. Respect her right to do as she chooses. Either way the universe will not come to an end. If you choose to feel rejected if you do not get what you want, then you have a self-esteem problem which has nothing to do with her. If you do get the contact you desire, then congratulations - take it from there. What do you have to lose?

Awww, me and my husband met on the bus and he was shy too. My advice is to flat out talk to her. Tell her your name and ask for hers. Flirt a lil just don't be cocky most girls I know of hate that. Ask her about her classes and stuff. Ask for her number.

how do you approach her? by walking duh! nah but seriously, if you need a conversation starter, you said you were both in college, use that. ask her about her majors and plans or something. she has obviously seen you too if you've met eyes. and you should probably ask for her number. it's usually the traditional thing to do.

but seriously get friends to back u up. act causal and ALWAYS try to get to kno her a little first. NO STALKER LIKE THING LIKE ASKING AROUND WAT SHE LIKES. come face to face. complain about hw, teachers or other craps together and just normal stuff. as for her s/n and or # but if you are really shy approach it as a "make a new friend" instead of a "ask her out thing"

make an attempt to sit next to her on the bus, if your sitting next to her your bound to talk.....whats the worst tjat could happen? shell say she already has a boyfriend? hey you never kno she might like you too, its always worth it
