I am in love with this girl who is everything I have asked God for but she has been hurt a lot and I am a " safe " guy to her...she told her sister that she prayed so long to be happy and now she knows that I would make her happy... so I can't keep on loving her while she's backing away from me. My mother used to say that you know you're truely in love, not when you could see yourself with her for the rest of your life but when you can't see your life without her. I love her and I wanna spend the rest of my life making her happy... but how do I do that? If she won't how do I let go of my one true love!

First, when you talk to her don't ask her out at all. Justbe yourself, and be a friend to her. Let her become more at ease and trustworthy around you.
