How do you pick a song that shows that you love him but don't want to get back together? I would say that you are going about this half assed. Either you do or don't want him. I'm assuming that you do but you don't want to get hurt by exposing your feelings. Just go for it. I'm sure that there are plenty of other guys who would love to be with you so if he doesn't then it's not worth pursuing. There is a song called "Lost without you" by Robin Thike. It's a relativly new but it's great. You should check it out it you haven't heard it already.
