I only went on one date and it didn't do so well, when I spoke I know he wasn't listening to me. He is a really great guy, but it was missing the chemistry.

YOU can only decide if you are ready to date. Maybe that guy isn't the right one for you. When you go on a date with a guy that truly has chemistry with you, you will know. Just take your time and when one sweepts you off of your feet you will be ready to start dating. Good Luck!!!!!!!

No worries girl! I'm 18 and I have never had a boyfriend. This being said, I have some of the best guyfriends a girl could ask for and I wouldn't have it any other way. These are the only years of your life that you only have to worry about you! Use them well because you owe it to yourself to become the best person you can be before you meet Mr. Right. There's no hurry...enjoy the wait!

you don't ever NEED to start dating. it's a totally voluntary dating. i'm seventeen and i only started dating when i was sixteen. but i totally lucked out, and i've been with my bf for 8 months. :) so don't stress over it. wait for mr. right.
