Does the menstrual cycle(and when you get it) affect growth/height?

Since some girls mature early, and some later.

I grew a lot a year or 2 after my first one! And I am still growing....so I guess it does affect your height....and weight. :):):)

Yes, most girls stop growing once you get your period. You may grow an inch but usually not more than that. I got mine in 5th grade and I am still that height (many years later). A cousin of mine had hormone shots to prevent her period for a year so she would grow a little taller and be more mature once she got it.
