Climate and weather are closely related, but it is very true that the world has been getting hotter in recent decades. Most people will tell you about the ice caps melting, but less obviously, heat stroke rates are going up in the summers; winter snows are melting earlier; oceans are rising; it's getting colder earlier in the year...

The big question is... why? Well, Global Warming. BUT!!!!! Not all global warming is manmade. HUMANS CONTRIBUTE TO IT IMMENSELY, (don't forget that!) but there are also natural forces that affect climate that humans have no role in, like solar activity, alignment of the earth's axes, etc. Everything is connected that way, and climate is of course going to be affected by such changes.

It is very, very important that humankind changes its energy sources and rates of resource consumption. We need alternate energy sources, like solar, wind, water, hydrogen... but we also need to manage our tree cutting, our water pollution and our soil erosion, because all of these things affect and are affected by climate, habitats, and our own lives, too.
