So what?? Maybe Job loved the wife and children and home, etc., that he had to begin with, and didn't WANT new ones.
Not to mention that it was extremely unfair to kill Job's first set of children, when they didn't even do anything.
If your first wife and family died in a horrible way, and then a few years later you remarried and had a second family, you could be very happy with the new family.....but wouldn't you still feel bad about what happened to your first family? If you wouldn't then you're an unnatural monster.

Look into what Einstein said about religion and science. Very illuminating.
And as far as what was "returned" to Job...getting ten new kids is NOT a substitute for the ten who were killed off! You can't just trade them back and forth like they're totally interchangeable.
And what does that have to do with science? Will science give back twice what Satan stole? What are you talking about? God and science are NOT mutually exclusive--they can coexist.

That would be a good warning if you only could come up with one example to prove it ...say ever. I should start my own religion, apparently it's a really profitable business.
