I'm a high school freshman, but the guy I like is a senior...is this too big of an age difference? He's in my choir class, but I've never talked to him (he's kinda popular and I'm...not.) . How can I get him to notice me in a good way? Also, I've liked him since the beginning of the year, but for some reason I haven't told my best friends....should I tell them? I REALLY REALLY like him!!

I forgot to mention that although I haven't spoken to him, I've seen him in school a lot, and he's always friendly and funny. (And we're both in drama club, too, so I see him there.)

It is not too big of an age difference, however the year is almost over so if you want to do something do it quickly because he will be going to college soon. I suggest you try and talk to him, get to know him better, then just tell him straight up that you like him. You have nothing to lose because if something happens then you can enjoy your time together. If not, he is leaving anyways and you wont have to regret not saying anything.

The best thing you should do to not come off as an immature little kid is to go up and talk to him. Ask him his name and tell him how cute you think he is. Tell him you'd like to get to know him and be friends with him. Just be forward. Guys like when a girl can come up to them. I hope he's a mature guy who will appreciate an action like that and not an immature jerk who thinks he can take advantage of a freshman who likes him.

Be careful, though. He is a Senior and will be leaving after this year. If you get in a relationship with an older guy who has graduated while you're still in high school, you'd better be ready for all that comes with it.

He will hang with older people, go places you can't go and have an entirely separate and different life than you.

Good luck!

Oh yeah, me and my man are 6 years apart and met when I was 15. The age difference is not much.

If they're your best friends, why wouldn't you tell them? Are you embarrassed by your crush? If so, that's perfectly fine. But if you can't even tell your bffs, you definetly won't be able to let this guy you like know.
Popularity will make a difference. It's high school honey. Popularity is always important, unfortunately. But who knows? Maybe this guy isn't as shallow as all the other popular people.
Age shouldn't matter. It really depends on the maturity of both of you. He is kind of old for you though. I know a lot of seniors who hate freshman because they think they are immature.
Good luck.

There is a bit of an age difference there. If you like him then talk to him. wait a while to tell him you like him. For now just make conversation with him. I think if you start to talk to him then after a while he might start to like you. You never know what could happen, You are still a freshman (and so am i) and you have three and a half years to find someone else if this doesn't work. There might be someone out there who likes you right now! Your friends probably know every secret you have, but they don't need to know everything right? Don't worry! One secret won't hurt your friendship! Well good luck on talking to him, and remember be yourself!

I think no,because I know this girl that goes out with a six grader and she is in 10 grade!!! But that depends on if he likes you . He probably like you and you dont know.Ummm...... Hows about you do stuff he likes like hang out in some places he goes or just do something to make you pretty like... wear makeup and get sexier clothes or do both and walk pass his locker alot so he will notice you(if you know where his locker is). And if this doesn't work try to talk to you in your choir class, and see if you guys have anything . I think you should not tell your friends , because they might like him to and might get mad or jealous of you.

interesting how you only want girls to answer you.
From a OLDER guy's perspective. you are around 14, he is close to 18. Besides the legalities if anything happens, there is way to big of an age difference for you. Relax, you will have plenty of time for relationships.

hmm, seems more of like a lust crush than anything.
you really dont know him, and yes it is a big age difference.

there is a big difference between an 18/17 year old and a 14/15 year old :/

you honestly dont know him, just ebcause hes cute doesnt mean hes a good person.

Sounds like someone else I know in that situation, pull him to the side and ask him to hang out or do something tell him what is going on with you and how you want to handle things. If he likes it when girls take control he will appreciate you going to him and tell him what the deal is.

be careful going for a guy that much older than you. when you are young that is a big age difference. you should tell your friends of course but don't feel bad if nothing happens between you guys!! good luck.

Hey no that is ok I was in 9th and dated a 12th grader and it lasted for like 1 year and some. you just have to find a guy that respects you and dont just try to have sex with you unless your into that. But yeah go for it. Like just come up to him and talk to him it will work out.
Hope you get him:)
