Your boyfriend is correct in thinking that too much cardio can put a damper on his goals to gain muscle mass. To maximize muscle growth, a 3-day lifting cycle is favored, with 2 - 3 sets of 10 - 15 repetitions with a heavy weight. Splitting workouts to cover certain body parts on different days may also aid muscle growth. An example of this would be: chest, shoulders, and triceps on one day; lower body for another day; and, back, trapezius (upper shoulders/upper back area), and biceps on yet another day. Resting is crucial to muscle repair and growth so there need not be more than three consecutive days of overall exercise (strength training or cardio) followed by a rest day. There is supplement CellMass can help your boyfriend to gain muscles, it brings closure to his workouts by giving his muscles the most advanced muscle-building nutrients ever developed, which helps them recover, grow, and harden at a supra-physiological rate.

yes, it may, especially for the people who overexer themselves doing cardio. Cardio damages (slightly) some muscles causing them to breakdown but i problly not even noticable. maybe 1 pond of total muscle MAX. Cardio also causes you to lose water weight because you sweat.
I do suggest that he does do cardio, whats the point of having lots of muscle that is covered by a layer of fat, it will only make him look fat.If he adds cardio he will be more defined and better looking.

it particularly is extra a well-being element than a weight element. authentic, aerobic workouts are extra perfect for dropping weight that potential training, yet the two could be achieved on a similar time as attempting to shed some pounds and stay healthful. the element approximately commencing with aerobic first is extra because of the fact once you initiate attempting to shed some pounds, it particularly is assumed you're undeserving to boot as fat and you could no longer initiate potential training till your physique can actual take care of it.
