Where is your faith Christians? Have no fear of those who can destroy the body but not he soul.
The greatest terrorist Nation of all time "Rome" was defeated by their murder of a meek Jewish Rabbi, who even while being nailed to a cross asked God to forgive them. This is more powerful than any army. Have faith the best way to defeat terrorism is to not be terrorized, it nulifies their power.

Jesus was trying to show us that death does not exist and never has, because the body is not what we are, it is something we have to use to navigate through this physical world. The spirit/soul is literally what we are, and we are all part of God. The body can die, but we cannot. This is what it means to conquer death, to become aware of, and come to understand, this great truth. This is what Jesus was trying to demonstrate to us, through his death, that death does not exist. I also agree with you, that when you are not afraid of those who want to cause you to fear them, it nullifies their power. A very good friend of mine told me a story of how he was stalked one night by a guy who wanted to rob him. He made it to his apartment, and the would be robber yelled out "I know where you live, MF", and my friend came running down to where the robber was, asking "do I have to be afraid of you?" There was more to the story than I am going to relate here, but the robber was convinced to leave my friend alone, because my friend let the robber know, in no uncertain terms that he would not be living his life, looking over his shoulder all the time, wondering when that would be robber was going to show up, to harm him. This was an impressive demonstration of your statement "The best way to defeat terrorism is to not be terrorized, it nullifies their power!!!

Its also true from a christian view that the real battle is against Satan. He's the 'god of this world', so that there will be tides of violence of different forms through history. People are getting influenced by Satan's strategies, in an unconscious way, a la Matrix. People with good consciences and behaviour are well protected, but others can just be molded like putty. So in the 19C and 20C we had the wars of nationalism and communism. Back in 16C and 17C in Europe there were wars of religious domination, pursuing a wrong idea about God, ie that its OK to enforce belief. Currently its a violent islamic agenda that is troubling world peace.
It'll only end (a christian belief) when Christ returns.

Just a minor nit-pick... To conquer death you need only resurrect.

Jesus didn't conquer death by dying. He conquered death by coming back to life.

Youre right, Jesus' power is stronger. That is why we crush terrorists, not fear them or give into them like silly Spain.
