I second the wilted lettuce,outside the fact its horrificly bad for you,lol.Using fresh summer lettuce is the best,add some green onions from the garden,heat some oil and add some vinegar to it and pour over the lettuce to wilt.Yum.Realisticly,anything with vegetables is good for you right?lol.

I also like a basic pasta salad with grape tomatoes,basil,and mozzarella crumbled up in it.

If i am going for a basic lettuce type salad.I like lettuce,tomato,baby spinach,shredded carrots(maybe),tossed in a basic vinegarette.On the side some salad olives yummy.Have a good night sweetie.

Chicken ceasar salad
& my taco salad.
I use ground beef with taco seasoning in it. Mix it with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, chopped(small) cauliflower, shredded cheddar cheese. When I'm ready to serve it, I add a bag of corn chips and the pour some Catalina salad dressing over it and mix.
It's awesome!!

I like "Michigan Salad"

It has mixed greens, crumbled blue cheese, chopped walnuts, "craisins" and raspberry vinaigrette.

Toss it all together and mmmm mmmm mmm...delicious.

i dont like to much in my salad, just the lettuce, carrots, eggs, cheese, meat ( chicken or ham), and cucumbers. thats it and sometime bacon bits and crotons with french dressing on top.

Caesar salad is my absolute favorite, even after I found out that true caesar dressing has anchovies in it.
