Sadly, some studies from the French (and they should know) show that sex burns very few calories. :(

Quckies nothing worthwhile, marathons and really vigorous 250 to 500 calories.

Having tried it a few times with a heart rate monitor just for fun, I can tell you that it doesn't burn any more than a brisk walk. And I'm pretty athletic in everything I do.
