Ouch!! Been there, done that too. It'll take a few days to go away, but in the meantime, use a lot of your fave lotion. It also is nice if you put the bottle of lotion in the fridge until it is nice and cool. It'll feel very refreshing and your legs will be extra-soft after several applications. Shaving a lot dries you legs out...my favorite lotion is Jergens shave minimizing lotion. After 6 weeks, you have to shave less often, and your skin is softer. The only drawback (in my opinion) is that the lotion contains mineral oil. Good luck!

yeah but i personally think that it is hard to shave your legs with lotion b/c when i shave the lotion gets all caught in between the razors. but i like to use conditioner also, and i dont like to take a long time to shave because then i try 2 rush and i either cut myself or miss some hairs. but i suggest that you try some hair removal cream instead of shaving. like Nair or something like that!!!!!! but for the bumps, i would but some lotion on it and smooth it on, BUT NOT RUB IT IN!!!! and let it sit on your leg for about 5-15 minn, so it gets really smooth, then wipe it off, dont wash it off!!! you want the moisture to stay on your leg!!

Been there done that, think most women have been in this situation when theyre in a hurry and the shaving gels run out!!
(I used hair conditioner if I run out!)
Try after a warm bath, moisturising your legs well. Try and keep up with regular moisturising it makes alot of difference to the effect of your legs when you shave.

basically you have razor burn. and that SUCKS.... leave it alone and it will go away in a week or so...theres not really much you can do to make it feel better-- you kindof just have to wait it out. if you really are in a rush and you just want to use lotion, make sure you wet your legs first and THEN apply the lotion....it works so much better and you wont get razor burn :)
