I never heard of that. You may want to ask your dentist.

If this were true it would be HIGHLY unusual.
There is an average schedule of when to expect deciduous(baby)
teeth to fall out, but most lose all their baby teeth no later than 14 or so.
It is not uncommon for some to hold onto a little longer, but at 24?
that would be quite rare. There are also come cases where
baby teeth don't fall out because the permanent tooth that is to replace them is missing. Even in this case, I have never seen more than 3 on one patient.
You say you have an x-ray. I presume that means a dentist took it? If so, what is his explanation or prognosis? If in fact this is true and you have all of your baby teeth still, you could be documented in a dental book for future reference.

well i have on baby tooth still and im nineteen..my permanent tooth is also there. i had to get braces 2 years ago and one of the options was leaving the tooth there or pulling it down to straighten my teeth. i choose to leave it there because it would take and additional 3 yrs to bring that tooth down and i would still be wearing the braces..i dont know about all ur teeth though..thats strange what has ur dentist suggested doing?

I'm 21 and still have four of the main ones towards the back. Infact wisdom teeth has started to grow behind them.
I ain't got a clue what my body does. it seems to be on autopilot.

what they would do is cute your gums open ( sounds bad I know ) and pull out your baby teeth and use something to pull the other set down...my brother had 4 sets of teeth, and had a similar problem with not loosing his baby teeth...operation was pretty simple, and recovery was quick...I would talk to your desntist about what they recomend in your case.
