Because it signifies completion and perfection.
Looking at the bible - usually what God did was usually completed in seven. Like the world was created in seven days.
6 signifies a lack of completion. Something that was carried out but not fully finished. Which is why Satan caries that number. He was created, and did serve God, but fell before he fully finished God's plan for him.

In the bible the number 7 is the number for completion.
God created the world in 7 days.
Sabbath (day of rest) is on the 7th day.
Look in Revelation for the 7 seals and 7 trumpets and 7 lampstands. They signify completion.

Mostly religious reasons. God created the universe in seven days, seven deadly sins, King David was the seventh son . . . there are also a lot of uses in Jewish services, but I'm not familiar with them.
Look up the historical references for the number 7 someday. It's kind of staggering what you'll find.

7 Signifies divinely determined completeness, as to
Jehovah’s purposes or to Satan’s. (Revelation 1:4, 12, 16;
4:5; 5:1, 6; 10:3, 4; 12:3)

Because that's God's number. How many days did God take to make the universe? 6, right? and then rested on the 7TH day and he saw everything He created was good.

LMAO 7 ate 9! I love that joke. Really it has to do with Jesus and the Bible, if you can read Hebrew of what language the bible was originally written in, Aramaic or what not, it has to do with the values of the letters.
