Why do people use this as a drug to get high? and how much does one pill usually cost

Oxycodone, also known as OxyContin is a synthetic opioid, the same type of drug as codeine, morphine, opium, and heroin.
Cost depends on whether you are getting it as a prescription, whether you are buying brand name or generic, your health care plan, whether you are buying on the black market, and where you live and who you know.

Oxycodone (Oxycontin) has been called the poor man's heroin when ingested a certain way. It is a triple-script drug and not readily available anymore through Internet pill pushers. If it is prescribed by a doctor, then in most cases the same insurance company that pays for the doctor bill will also cover the cost of the medication, so the cost of one pill is immaterial. A pill could cost $17.00 or more.

Don't know how much one pill would cost, but you can't get it legally without a doctor's prescription. Oxycodone is a controlled pain medication and should not be taken for recreational purposes. There are some possible serious side effects to this drug, and you could be arrested for possession of it.

Because it makes most people feel really good, plus it's highly addictive. The cost of one pill depends on where you get it from. I believe that one pill at the pharmacy (without insurance) is something like 3 dollars for a generic brand.

I'm not sure, because it doesn't get you high. It's a pain reliever. The most it will do is put you to sleep. Taking two will make you go to sleep faster. Some side effects: itchiness all over your body, headache when it wears off (after about 3-4 hours). You should never drive while taking this stuff - it definitly makes you too sleepy - maybe a little dizzy. You're much better off catching a good buzz off a glass of wine or two...

I think its like 20 bucks on the street a pill, I don't know why people use it, I suppose it is like Vicodin used to be
