Just give a better answer! or answer the questions of opnion, or survery questions - those people are looking for more than one good answer

I know - I am having the same trouble. I am reduced to looking at all the answered questions to see if there are any where the answers consist of nothing more than frivolous remarks people have made just to get the points!! A bit like I'm doing now, really....

There is no rule that says that you cannot propound your own answer to a question that already has answers. That is particularly true if your answer is better, which considering the quality of some of the answers that we see here, could very well not be all that difficult.
